President
A seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in executive leadership, administration, and operational capacities. He currently serves as the President of the CoverFlexx Group, overseeing Transtar Autobody Technologies, Pro Form, and the Aftermkt Armor brand. His journey at Transtar Industries, Inc. began in 2012, where he assumed various executive leadership roles, including managing Transtar's manufacturing operations among other businesses, and serving as Chief Administrative Officer & Legal. Before Transtar, he held executive leadership positions at E.P. Management Corporation. Ben holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, and Operations Management from The Ohio State University and completed the INSEAD Global Executive Management Program in France.
Vice President Sales & Marketing
A veteran of the automotive coatings industry with an impressive 34-year career marked by diverse leadership roles and outstanding achievements. He currently serves as Vice President of Sales for the CoverFlexx Group. During his 27-year tenure at DuPont Performance Coatings/Axalta, Rob had a progressive sales career managing large teams and accounts that represented significant revenue and growth. Rob's career continued to flourish during his time at SSI/NCS, where he excelled as a Regional Sales Manager, Director of Fleet & Industrial, and Regional Vice President. Rob holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Social Work from Kansas State University and is certified as a Six Sigma Greenbelt, reflecting his commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Vice President, General Manger Canada
A seasoned industry veteran with 30+ years of dedicated service and leadership. His diverse skill set includes chemical formulation and application for automotive, industrial, marine, and aviation refinish and repair products and well as commercial management. Jim is a Milton ON Chamber of Commerce member, former Automotive Industries Association PBE Committee participant, and a strong advocate for the AutocarePBES committee conference. His educational background includes a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, Economics, and Finance, making him a driving force at Pro Form.
Director of Finance
A professional with two decades of invaluable experience in the automotive industry, specializing in Manufacturing Finance. He currently serves as the Director of Finance for the CoverFlexx Group. Jeff's journey in the automotive sector has seen him excel in critical roles, including Business Unit Controller at Davco Technologies and Controlling Manager at Detroit Manufacturing Systems. His educational foundation includes a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from Madonna University, providing him with a solid academic background for his career.
Director of R&D/Quality Control
Joining Transtar Autobody Technologies in November 2018, Todd brings eight years of experience in Technical Service for polyurethane reactive chemistry. He also has a background in formulating coatings for Automotive Collision Repair, Fleet, and Commercial Vehicle markets. Todd's career started in flexible coatings for plastics, transitioning from solvent-borne to waterborne basecoats, leading primer development, and securing nine patents. Todd's expertise contributes significantly to TAT's R&D and quality control efforts.
